Case Study – Bittersweet
The Challenge
The primary goals of this summer campaign were twofold: to increase brand awareness and promote Bittersweet's new wellness products, alongside the launch of their "Ego Death" streetwear collection.
The goal was to have a multiple long form video as well as social media ready assets to use for marketing purposes.
Our Approach
We kicked things off with a discovery call to really understand what Bittersweet is all about and what they wanted to achieve. We helped refine their ideas into a cohesive script that highlighted each item for their look book.
Working with Bittersweet was a high-collaboration effort. We had extensive discussions that shaped both the narrative and visual elements of the campaign, making sure everything was perfectly in sync with their vision.
The creative concept behind the campaign was inspired by a desire to evoke nostalgia and a connection to nature. Creative Director Romari Bonner, known for blending Super 8 film into his digital projects, was the perfect collaborator to create an otherworldly atmosphere that would capture the theme of letting go of ego and letting your creativity shine.
We wanted to create something really special, mixing film and digital media to keep things fresh but true to the earthy nature of Bittersweet's brand. The result was a visual poem that seamlessly blended Bittersweet’s vision with our creative execution.
The Results
Shooting in the desert was no joke! We faced intense heat and, out of nowhere, a sandstorm. But our team pulled together and turned these challenges into opportunities, adding a raw and authentic feel to the campaign that highlighted Bittersweet’s resilience and natural connection.
One of the highlights was a micro commercial for their new tea products. We created a slice-of-life scene featuring someone going about his morning routine, and prioritizing his creative endeavors. It was a simple, yet powerful way to showcase how the product fits into a everyday routine.
By blending the clients unique vision with our artistic expertise, we produced a series of beautiful and impactful videos. The successful outcomes of this campaign were undeniable, with Bittersweet selling out of both their wellness products and the "Ego Death" streetwear collection.
